Payment & Returns
It is of the utmost importance to me that you are satisfied with your shopping experience here. Please contact me with any questions you have. Merci!
We currently accept Stripe, PayPal and money orders.
Items purchased with a money order will be held for 5-10 days to allow time for the funds to clear.
Due to the vintage nature of the items from For the Love of France, all sales are final. Please be sure you love your treasure before purchasing it. Although I am very careful to describe and document all items accurately, I may occasionally miss something. I am happy to provide additional information and or photographs upon request.
Payment should be made at the time of purchase but must be made within 48 hours as I ship as soon as payment is received. I normally go to the Post Office the day after the purchase has been made. If payment is not made in a timely fashion, I reserve the right to cancel the transaction and re-list the item. Please contact me if you are having problems or concerns about payment.
A sales tax rate of 8.75% is applied to all sales in the state of California.

Our Shipping Policy
Your items will be wrapped an shipped in 1-2 days and sent USPS Priority Flat Rate. As a courtesy I will insure every item with a value over $75.00 shipped within the US.
International Customers;
Must contact me for a shipping cost.
You do need to be aware of the duties applied by your country. These are not additional shipping charges. Claudia Violette & For The Love Of France are not responsible for any charges by customs or VAT taxes.
International packages weighing over 4 pounds must be sent Priority Mail, it is a regulation by the United States Postal Service.
International packages under 4 pounds can be sent First-Class Package International Service. As a courtesy I will purchase a tracking number for these packages when available so that you will be able to see where your package is along the way.
We take great care in packaging your order, and extra precautions are taken for fragile items. I hope it never happens however If you receive a damaged item or package, please photograph everything, the package and contents in the box just as you received them and contact me immediately. Photographs are needed to process the insurance and without which I may not be able to offer a refund. Furthermore the item(s) and packaging must be saved for inspection by the delivery company.
I am happy to combine shipping rates on multiple item purchases when possible. Multiple item orders are discounted automatically but I reserve the right to not combine shipping on fragile items if I think it will endanger their safety. Feel free to contact me prior to purchase for a combined shipping rate estimate, by providing your city, state and zip code.
Environmental Concern; Whenever possible I reuse and recycle packaging or eco friendly packaging.
