Antique French Mother of Pearl Rosary Beads with Blue Enamel details
This is an unusual antique Catholic rosary. The round natural mother of pearl beads are a perfect size and feel wonderful to hold. The exquisite Art Deco crucifix, and the six-sided center depicting Virgin Mary are composed of shades of blue guilloché enamel on brass. The five decades are separated by 6-sided enamel pieces representing the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Blessed Mother Mary, each 5/16 of an inch. The Rosary is 17" long • Crucifix 1.5" long x 1" wide • the six-sided center is 1/2" diameter. Made in France circa 1920s it is in excellent antique condition.
