Spring Rains in time for St Patricks Day
Happy St Patrick Day!
I have spent most of February and March traveling to and from Northern California. I could probably do it with my eyes closed at this point. I was captivated buy the beauty of the land and farms, it could not have been greener if I were in Ireland. It's been quite a while since I have seen all the beautiful shades of green on our hills. It is a little kiss from mother nature as our drought is worsening and the fire 'season' year round now.
This wonderful time of year is my favorite. Springtime is so full of promise and new life from the burgeoning buds on 100 year old grapevines, the cheerful daffodils and mustard grass to the baby calves, colts, goats and alpacas. All of which I saw as I wound my way up the coast. Do you love springtime too?
While away I discovered new French antique shops, antiques and vintage shows and flea markets. Stay tuned for some delicious photographs over the next week. And yes a small container of treasures has finially arrived. There will soon be lots of new delights in my antique shop as well.
I leave you with this
lovely Irish Blessing.
